Dear Samarah Joy,
We have met in Glastonbury this year where you spoke in the
chalice well garden (I am one of the four ladies from Holland).
We were all deeply moved by the
love and recognition we felt deeply in our beings. Thank you so
very very much for this message and promise of love.
I am so grateful, it's beyond
words. I felt completely whole and I knew that I have always
known this truth: I am home. Thank you very much.
I was always looking for this message of love in the outer world
and I was deeply disappointed of what I saw to a point, that I
did not want to participate anymore, this was a sad feeling and
I knew not the right path either. After listening to the message
of Maria I realized that I had a choice: if I keep looking at my
truth, and my love and my happiness and my way of treating other
people and acting from this truth in myself there would be no
reason to feel sad and to give up hope. I realized that I could
act from my truth regardless of how other people were acting and
this filled my heart with a lot of joy and hope. I realized I
had always the choice of how I wanted to act or feel. I realized
it was me who let go of the love not the people around me.
Thank you sister, mother and
friend for your love and for your mirror so I could see myself.
Two years ago I started in Holland a magazine for women who
wanted to write from their inner selves, to motivate and inspire
ourselves and others to live from our own truth and light, this
magazine is called POWWOW after the Indian powwow: a gathering
to dance, to enjoy each others company, to share, to remember
your truth. Indian spirituality is also a deep recognition for
me because of the love and respect for all living beings. The
powwow magazine is my contribution to the world.
Women themselves write the powwow magazine. They send me copy
about different themes and I make the magazine every two months
(5 times a year). It’s a small magazine but a sincere and loving
one.
The logo of the magazine is a
circle of woman: we are all one. At the chalice well meeting you
gave us a button with the same logo, so you can imagine my
feeling of recognition.
I was deeply moved by the cd you gave us: “the Awakening”. The
message on the cd is so important that I want to tell everybody
about it and share the strength and love and hope it gave me. I
am sure it will touch many women for it gives answers to a lot
of people who are confused about what they can contribute.
My question is: can I share the
text on the cd from Maria in the magazine? It would be a great
great honor to spread the words of Maria.
My second question is if you would like to share some words of
Maria in this magazine. I was so moved by the truth and wisdom
of your words that I would really like to learn and share more
of it with other women.
There are 5 numbers planned for
this year. Each magazine has it’s own theme. To give you an idea
of the contents of the magazine: the coming powwow number in
October is about mitakye oyasin –we are all one, number two is
about sisterhood, number three is about rites in the lives of
women, number four is about love in action and number five is
about what do you believe in the year 2003.
The work I do for the magazine is almost all voluntary; I won’t
be able to pay you a contribution in this stage of the magazine.
